T-REASON.

T-Reason (a.k.a Tom Pounsford) has been making quite the name for himself in the North East largely due to his involvement in the phenomenally successful Audio Asylum night which takes place on a monthly basis and has played host to the likes of Plastician, Shy FX & Hazard to name a few. Dark Sky will headline the next event, for tickets and more information click here.

This aside I have a lot of time for T-Reason's first collaboration. I'd liken 'Love Is Not Enough' to the earlier sounds of Chase & Status and Bachelors of Science. You can here it for yourselves below:

FESTIVALS: GOTTWOOD.

It's that time of year when we all start choosing which summer music festivals tickle our fancy. Do we jet off the the Mediterranean coast or do we take our chances with the infamous British weather? I attended the first ever Gottwood in 2010. I loved the blend of (now relatively famous artists) such as Jakwob & T.E.E.D with tons of student DJ talent at an astonishingly beautiful location on the Welsh coast. Staying true to its roots Gottwood are gearing up to announce the 2012 line up.

This years event will take place between the 21st and the 24th of June. You can buy tickets here.

A treasured part of the Gottwood family, what better way to encourage your excitement than Pelski's latest house and disco fix!

JLYMN.

We've woken up this morning to JLYMN's extraordinarily unique take on Lana Del Ray's 'Video Games.' This London based producer is a sound design student, and his acquired skills are most definitely being put to good use!

FACTION.

Faction brings Newcastle's student DJ talent to the Cosmic Ballroom. With a mission to put on a party that everyone can enjoy the main room will be filled with Hip Hop, Funk, Breaks, Drum & Bass, and Electro while upstairs the policy is House music all night long.

After a string of very successful midweek nights Faction has announced its move to the weekend. With a later license and two ICE CANONS installed in the main room this won't be anything other than HUGE!

HOUSE MOOD.

It's a shame that I'm going to a Drum & Bass night tonight when I'm in such a Housey mood. Given the fact that I keep stumbling into tracks like this it's hardly surprising!

Deep'art comprises of Glen Revell & Chris Ware, both from London, whos past DJ sets have been in support of such artists as Alexis Raphael, Miguel Campbell and Danny Daze!

If they keep producing tracks the likes of this we're pretty sure it won't take them long to gain some serious recognition.
